FOR SALE: NED CLAYTON DB52065 Step Up Transformer (SUT) in absolutely excellent condition. One of the world's most recognized SUTs, extremely rare to find for sale, with rave reviews online and in comparative tests. This particular wears Ned Clayton DB52065 transformers with reinforced dual shielding for complete noise elimination. With this transformer, the output signal of a moving coil cartridge can be amplified in ratios 1:5 - 1:6,7 - 1:10 - 1:20 very easily with the combination of switches located on the surface of the device (photo No4). This particular one can also wear transformers 4665 (like Altec Peerless 4665), 4722 (like Altec Lansing 4722) and 15095 (like Altec Peerless 15095) and others of various companies enhancing the output signal of an MC cartridge as also shown in detail in photo no4. Changing transformers is similar to changing tubes in audio amplifiers. This is a particular SUT can essentially amplify the output signal of any MC cartridge (high or low output) to a level so that it can then be properly balanced and amplified by a MM phono stage of any amplifier. It has wide, flat frequency response and sound that can hardly be found in a similar device regardless of price.
