Description
The sCLK-OCX10 is a master clock generator that produces a high purity 10 MHz clock signal.
In digital audio devices, the clock signal acts as the heart of the product -- the higher purity of clock, the more accurate and better the sound quality.
The sCLK-OCX10 is specially designed for high-end audio equipment, bringing all the benefit of a master clock that is normally used in recording studios and high performance audio. It can be used with devices equipped with a BNC connector for a master clock input.
For SOtM products, the 10MHz master clock input connector can be added to SOtM products with an internal sCLK-EX clock (such as sMS-1000SQ, sMS-200ultra and tX-USBultra).
As many audiophiles know, a clock signal is an angled square digital signal, but the sCLK-OCX10 produces a pure analog sine wave of 10MHz. This sinusoidal clock signal is the method adopted for the best clock products because it generates much less noise than the angled square digital clock signal. The sCLK-OCX10 consists only of an analog circuit which contains 10 years of SOtM's experience. It derives high analog sound that is different from other master clocks on the market which output angled square digital clock signal.
The sCLK-OCX10 produces very delicate, smooth and natural sound especially in the mid- to low bandwidths. It brings very clear and significant improvement expected with the best analog devices -- so with the sCLK-OCX10, you can experience not only music played by a system, but the essence, artistry and heart of the music.
The sCLK-OCX10 has four outputs, which can be used simultaneously with 4 BNC connectors for master clock input device. Output impedance can be set to 75 ohms.
