General : The most compact floorstanding speaker in Sonus Faber's Sonetto series. Handmade in Italy.
Technique : The Sonus Faber Sonetto 3 possesses techniques from Sonus Faber's higher and more expensive Olympica and Homage Tradition lines. The tweeter is a 29mm silk dome tweeter with DAD ( Damped Apex Dome ) technology, very durable and true to nature. The 150mm midrange driver consists of a blend of natural fibre and paper which is air-dried. This combination is available for the first time in this price range. Bass reproduction is provided by two 150 mm aluminium bass drivers, which ensure tight and pure bass reproduction. The bass port is at the bottom of the speaker. The Sonetto 3 is a compact floorstander, but it sounds much bigger than it actually is. The woofers and midrange unit are designed from A to Z by Sonus Faber itself and sit in a cast enclosure. The Sonus Faber Sonetto 3 has a luxurious look and the cabinet possesses real wood components and a leather top.
Listening : Listening to the Sonus Faber Sonetto 3 is truly a delight. You haven't heard anything like it before from speakers of this price range. The highs are extremely detailed and refined. The midrange is very fast and realistic. The low is pleasing, pure and tight. But above all, the soundstage that these Sonus Faber Sonetto 3 can put down is special. The soundstage is grand, feels natural and is not overdone. Everything sounds as it should and the placement of the voices and instruments is very precise.
This set of Sonus Faber Sonetto 3 was delivered to us in December 2023, the speakers are obviously in new condition and come complete including the original packaging. The set comes with full manufacturer's warranty.
