The Monitor Audio PL-100 Platinum is a compact monitor from MA's flagship series. But make no mistake about the size. A large orchestra sounds spectacular and dynamic. But when the music demands, they are of course able to play refined, small and intimate. The reproduction is very homogeneous and musicians are depicted lifelike in the space, with considerable depth, height and layering.
The beautiful midrange is fast, dynamic and transparent, but still has the natural "fullness", as voices and instruments have in real life. The highs are very detailed and extremely refined, never harsh. The bass will really surprise you for such a small speaker. It extends far, is of high quality and… widely available.
