Hello,
I am selling a fabulous MODWRIGHT INSTRUMENTS preamplifier, the LS 100 model
This is part of the high-end HIFI, it is a tube preamp, from an American brand.
It offers great clarity and a huge scene filled with musicality, its sound is surprising, the beauty and musicality of the tube but the clarity of a transistor, it is a rather confusing preamp.
It has been completely revised and upgraded.
The revision was carried out on September 10, 2024, 680 euros invoice
Change of all the tubes, they are new they are TUNG-SOL the machine was tested for 3 hours in a row in a workshop that has a very high reputation in France
A lot of components have been changed
For the UPGRADE it went to real symmetrical (must be symmetrical at the start)
Everything is on the invoice and the work is guaranteed
It is like new no scratches and all revised, this beautiful machine costs 6990 euros new
it is at 2400 euros but like new aesthetically, and both electronically and in the tubes

The design objective of the LS 100 was to pick up where the 9.0SE, our first product to have been produced, more than seven years ago, reached the next level. We strived to improve sound, aesthetics and functionality.
We succeeded!
Single-ended design with 10-function remote control, (2) 6SN7 (driver) and (1) 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier. Single gain/buffer stage, phase inversion, five standard inputs, monitor input and tape output, Home Theater Bypass (HT/BP) input and three main sets of RCA outputs.
Remote features include:
Power.
Two remote trigger outputs.
Selectable balance control, can be bypassed for a cleaner signal path.
Volume control.
Mute.
Input selection.
Monitor input selection.
Preamp features include:
Upgrade slot for optional built-in phono stage.
Built-in headphone amp powered by a tube driver stage.
Home theater bypass.
All push-button control, no toggle switches.
LS 100 Tube PHONO OPTION:
One pair of RCA inputs.
Tube Design: (1)12AX7, (1)12AU7
MC: Total Gain = 63dB (including preamp stage)
MM: 12AX7 replaced by 12AU7 = 48dB gain.
Loading: 50, 100, 500, 1K, 47K, 100pf via internal dip switches.
[USER/DEALER INSTALLATION OPTION]
The LS 100 is built in the same enclosure as the KWA 100 amplifier and has the same lines and aesthetics, including the backlit logo. The taller (5") enclosure allows for a wider range of rectifier tubes inside the enclosure.
Sonically, the LS 100 offers increased control, ease, musicality and resolution, all perfectly balanced for an ideal musical experience. The frequency response is flat from 20 Hz to well over 100 kHz. The soundstage is extremely wide and the detail and microdynamics coexist with a tube warmth and natural musical presentation that must be experienced!

Rectifier Tube: Mullard, Amperex or Philips GZ34 Made in Holland.
