The DA2 digital audio module is McIntosh's newest and most advanced digital audio processing module. It offers a range of advanced features and features two coaxial connectors, two optical connectors, one USB connector, one MCT connector, and one HDMI (ARC) connector. The DA2's USB input supports native playback of up to DSD512 and DXD up to 384 kHz. This enhanced DSD playback support is enabled by the next-generation 32-bit, 8-channel, quad-balanced digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The coaxial and optical inputs can decode digital music up to 24-bit/192kHz for high-resolution audio playback.
