This has both the input and output transformers.
The Synergy 2i with its surrounding large soundstage, and tube-like sound. Moreover incredibly fast à la Spectral. A pleasure to listen to for a long listening sessions. This is the preamplifier that George Cardas uses, see Youtube: George Cardas's Listening Room.
Milled from a solid block of aluminum, to counteract microphony and other external influences, this is something you actually don't see anywhere else because of high production costs, and also explains the high weight of the Jeff Rowland Synergy 2i
