Beschreibung
Fully restored pair of JBL 4350A (Alnico). All drivers, cones and diagrams are original. The 4 x 15" woofer cones was replaced with original parts in 1994, and their foam-surrounds has been replaced in 2023.
Since the outer surface of the original 20 mm plywood enclosures was irreparable, we decided to add extra 12mm plywood, veneered in full-wide american walnut at all 4 sides. This means that this pair of 4350A has 32mm cabinet walls, similar to the later 4355. Also the original black foot made from soft pinewood was irreparable and has been replaced by a foot made from massive american walnut.
The speakers comes with both the original 5234 single ended (rca) active crossover, and the later 5235 balanced (XLR) version.
Included in the price are the heavy duty wood/steel stands, as well as wooden boxes for safe shipping are tailor-build for the speakers.
Regarding the performance: This is one of the best studiomonitors ever build. You will need to spend well over 100K euro to get a modern high-end speaker, offering the same resolution and dynamic capabilities.
