Selling my Hørning Agathon Ultimate Signature.
This is a set of high-quality horn speakers. I am the second owner, having purchased them in 2022 from Denmark. The original owner bought them new in 2011, directly from the factory in Denmark, with the best available components.
They feature custom-made drivers from Lowther. In 2023, I sent them to Lowther for a full refurbishment. They replaced everything except the magnet and the frame. The total cost was over 850 €, but it was still half the price of new units. The drivers are still under warranty, and the service was excellent.
So, you’re getting an almost new speaker!
For the bass, there are two 12” Beyma bass drivers, specially designed for these speakers.
The tweeter is custom-made by Hørning.
Silver cables are used for the crossover.
These speakers have very high sensitivity, around 100 dB, which means you don’t need much power from your amplifier to get a lot of sound from them, but they can also handle high-power amplifiers.
