For sale is Grandinote Shinai integrated amplifier
I have two units, one I use in my reference system, the other one is for sale.
As a tube lover and ex owner of more than 40 different tube amplifiers (Air Tight, Audio Note, Verdier, Luxman, Line Magnetic, Destination Audio, Don Garber, Jeff Korneff) I will say that Shinai gives me the most of what I love tubes for, while providing hassle free experience and cost free usage (no tube exchange, no bias regulation, no hum, no noise, FULL OF POWER to drive any regular speakers).
When I sold my Air Tight ATM-211 tube monoblocks, I finally found a tube/transistor hybrid which moved me out of tubse forever - Ypsilon Phaethon. Phateon was great but lacked the power and drive and its sound was tuned for ultimate transparency which also resulted in lack of body and timbre of instruments. I sold Ypsilon and purchased a Circle Labs P300 M200 separates which is also hybrid and offered much better driving and power capabilities while also offering better saturation, better timbre and colour.
Later on I visited my friend who sold his Goldmund 590 Nextget integrated to buy Shinai and I felt in love with this amp, purchasing my own one a month later.
Shinai is class A, full dual mono (TWO fully independent monoblocks in one chassis), fully balanced integrated. It has high current capabilities and high damping factor which allowes him to drive any speakers (lets say above 85dB and minimum 5ohm impedance) to very loud sound pressure levels in room up to 50m2.
I have two shinais, one I use, the other one was intented to be used in 2nd system which will not be built.
To me, Shinai is one of the best integrateds available for any tube or ex-tube lover.
I sell Shinai from around 2014, purchased from a Dealer in Netherlands. Almost not used by me at all.
Fully working. I have original (carton box) grandinote packaging and remote control. I will add two high quality Audio Illuminati Power cables for free.
