Mono tube power amplifiers from the actual Reference series of Audio Research. 2 x 140W / 8ohm, soundwise a real dream, very stable and built to the highest standards.
They can be operated in ultra-linear mode, which gives you the full 140 Watts of output power, or they can be run in triode mode, which gives you about half the power, approximately 75 watts per channel. Some people love the sound of triodes, and if you have efficient speakers, that might be an interesting way to go.
Including original boxes and manual. Newprice was 49.000 euro (pricelist available), now for 24.500 euro.
