Nach vielen Jahren der Nachfragen nach dem passenden Tonarm für TW-Acustic Laufwerke, gibt es jetzt die passende Antworte. Natürlich der perfekt zu den Laufwerken passenden Arm. Entstanden ist er in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Brückenbauingenieur Dipl. Ing. Michael Wiedemann, der sich bereits seit vielen Jahren mit dem Thema Tonarmbau beschäftigt hat. Herausgekommen ist dabei ein Produkt, dass die Philosophie der Laufwerke von TW ACUSTIC widerspiegelt: Einfachheit und Benutzerfreundlichkeit.

Von vorne herein stand fest, dass es sich dabei um einen geraden kardanischen gelagerten Tonarm handeln würde. Die streng selektierten Präzisionskugellager werden während des Produktionsprozesses genauestens eingestellt, um jegliche Störung des Abtastprozesses durch Haftreibung zu unterbinden. Damit die effektive Masse nicht unnötig groß ausfällt, besteht der Tonarm überwiegend aus einer speziellen, schwarz eloxierten Aluminiumlegierung, die von sich aus eine bei einem Tonarm gewünschte und notwendige Steifigkeit und Torsionsfestigkeit garantiert. Antiskating erfolgt feinfühlig magnetisch und kann problemlos im laufenden Betrieb nachjustiert werden.

After many years of inquiries about the right tonearm for TW-Acustic drives, there is now the right answer. Of course the arm that fits the drives perfectly. It was created in collaboration with the bridge construction engineer Michael Wiedemann, who has been working on the topic of tonearm construction for many years. The result is a product that reflects the philosophy of TW ACUSTIC drives: simplicity and user-friendliness.

It was clear from the start that it would be a straight gimbal-mounted tonearm. The strictly selected precision ball bearings are precisely adjusted during the production process in order to prevent any interference with the scanning process caused by static friction. To ensure that the effective mass is not unnecessarily large, the tonearm is mainly made of a special, black anodized aluminum alloy, which inherently guarantees the desired and necessary rigidity and torsional strength for a tonearm. Antiskating is sensitively done magnetically and can easily be readjusted during operation.
