Description
The NY-15-3.5S Permalloy transformers, are the absolute best choice for musical performance in single-ended amplifiers with valves such as 300B, 2A3, VT52, etc.
But what really makes these transformers special and versatile, is that despite the high sensitivity of the Permalloy, you can use a DC current of up to 200mA, so the parallel single-ended configuration is perfectly implementable!
My favorite combination is with the 845 tubes, using the operating point suggested in the RCA data-sheet, at 750V, 95mA and 15W output... fabulous!
