I am getting rid of this Sugden amplifier purchased new 1 year ago (March 2023) from the shop Pascal Louvet.

It works wonderfully with a pre Jeff rowland.sinergy and Pascal Louvet Isis II. It worked for less than a hundred hours. He's just ready !

The Sugden Masterclass SPA-4 is a 2 x 50 W pure Class A stereo power amp. It is the stereo version of Sugden's high-end mono block: the MPA-4 and it uses the same circuit.
With its more than comfortable power (2 x 50 W at 8 ohms and 2 x 75 W at 4 ohms) the Sugden IA-4 is truly a concentrate of musicality and an iron fist in a velvet glove, capable of mastering any speaker and extract the greatest finesse and the most subtle nuances.
The SUGDEN Masterclass SPA-4 Stereo Power Block is a great piece of electronics! With refinement and an innate sense of nuance, he immerses the listener in the music with disconcerting ease, thanks to exceptional imaging.
Powerful enough to overcome a wide variety of speakers, it displays objective and subjective qualities which automatically place it among the best amplifiers that can be found in its price range and well beyond. Superbly toned and modulated, he has no equal in emphasizing the life and rhythm of the music, through a listening experience that nevertheless remains extremely natural. It is in fidelity to the message that it flourishes throughout its bandwidth. Homogeneous at both low and high levels, it is perhaps a little less fast and powerful than some of its contemporaries, but this is to better craft a restitution of great beauty, through a respect for microdynamics characterized by a scene sound and a rendering of textures which makes it a very great performer.
