With no less than six awards for its excellent performance in its price class, the Sonus Faber Lumina III is the obvious floor-standing speaker for a living room-friendly sound system. Despite its relatively compact form, the Lumina III is a speaker capable of delivering the concert-like experience you would expect from the Italian loudspeaker specialist, and at a very reasonable price.
The speaker is a three-way construction that, among other things, borrows units directly from the more expensive Sonetto series. The tweeter is a 29mm DAD tweeter with viscoelastic decoupling from the baffle. It perfectly complements the dedicated 150mm midrange. With two bass units of the same size as the midrange, the Lumina III reaches down to 40Hz and ensures a bodily, tangible, and organic presentation of your music, or the soundtrack from a movie or TV series.
