Very analog sound, with precise reproduction of the musicians and incredible resolution. Fantastic spatial representation.

I compared it with many other major manufacturers' DACs (Mola Mola, Dcs Bartók, etc.), and the Progressive Audio 992 Mk2 DAC is the better one.
The DAC 992 is a digital-analog converter with integrated preamplifier.
We can fix its output at two volts and thus operate it on any preamplifier or full-range amplifier - just like we would operate a CD player.
However, if we want to operate the DAC 992 with active speakers, we can change the switch and thus get a regulated output with a power of 2 to 6 volts. Connection for external clock.
The Mk2 upgrade is ready and cost 5000 euros, with an invoice.
