Description
LINN SONDEK LP-12 in excellent working condition, with normal wear and tear of time in plinth without its original packaging. This one has s/n 24091 and is a 1978 to 1979 model. It is in its completely original state as it came out of the factory and works perfectly. It wears the arm with which the SME 3009 S2 Improved turntable came out at the time, which is in perfect visual and functional condition, with the original SME wiring and SME Headshell. The only ones that have been changed, but there are the original ones and are given together (see relevant photo) are the springs, the spring adjustment nuts and the turntable legs. For those who know the LP12 of these dates, it is visible a) both the feed nozzle with which the turntable came out and which clicks perfectly to the Project Speed-Box DS which is given along with the turntable (two adapters are given together for use in a common socket, the original one and a second one), b) the original mat of Linn which accompanied these turntables at the time and c) the then factory SME’s RCA on the cables to the Amplifier. On the cover there are signs of use (shown in the photos) and new hinges will be needed to snap to the turntable. Together they are given: 1) The PROJECT SPEED- BOX DS in black color, which enables the use of 33 and 45 revolutions on the turntable (and 75 with its relative modification) with full and precise control and fine-tuning of the turns and mainly without the need to make any intervention inside the turntable. It is in absolutely excellent condition given with complete and flawless original packaging. 2 ) The VAN DEN HUL MC10 (upgrade). Low MC cartridge after full upgrade by Van Den Hul. Excellent cartridge and in 10/10 condition since she has not played at all since upgrade by VDH in February 2020 (checked only for good working). It is given with all its accessories (needle guard, spirit level, wrench and mounting screws) in a box by Van Den Hul Frog.
