An iconic duo, one of the best tonearms ever made, the Fidelity Research FR-64 and one of the best Direct Drive Turntables, the venerable Denon DP-80. Both are perfectly working.
The tonearm is in perfect working conditions, though showing some age patina. Tonearm lifter works perfectly as well. It comes with FR S-6 headshell (not pictured), original cable (very high quality) and standard weight. The FR-64 is perfect for contemporary medium compliance high end cartridges. The standard antiskate weight will be provided (not pictured) since I will keep the heavy (pictured) one for my other FR-64.
The turntable is housed in a heavy custom made base of plywood wrapped in solid (20mm) cherrywood. The tonearm base can be changed. Along with the one for the FR-64 a second tonearm base is included (drilled for Dynavector DV-507) and a third comes as dummy to make others or can be adapetd for SME mounting (wrong Dynavector hole).
The tonearm base is finely adjustable to gain perfect levelling. The turnatable works flawlessy and has minor signs of use and time. Comes with a high quality 220-110v step-down transformer. A Michell Unicover and a Clearaudio bubble level are included, as well.
