Am selling this bundle of EAR 509 monoblocks and PL-509/519 tubes as seen in the pictures, aka what you see is what you get. Emphasis on bundle (2 amps + 1 tubes set), nothing sold separately.

Regarding the EARs:
EU rated, 220-240V. Owned and operated for my private use, much beloved and very well taken care of considering their age.
Both have been heavily upgraded: all resistors replaced with 1% metal film, polyester caps replaced with polypropylene ones, gold plated tube sockets for all the tubes, upgraded power cable and power plug, internal wiring entirely replaced with Kimber wiring, new ceramic anode caps for the 509/519s, back potensiometers upgraded to Bourns, Japan-imported gold plated, teflon RCA plugs and WBT gold speaker plugs; Oyaide silver solder (SS-47) used everywhere.
Age not a consideration, both amps fully recapped. All electrolytic capacitors were replaced last month.
Both amps currently fitted with original, brand new Philips ECC82 and Philips ECC83, Toshiba ECC85 and Ei PL-519s. Both amps have been properly re-biased, with said tubes, by me personally.
A mention here that i'm a professional, not a "hobbyist". Over 40 years of certified HiFi repairs and upgrades; can attest to both functionality and quality of the work thereof.

Kindly note the crack in one (and only the one) anode cap, as showcased in the relevant photo. 100% cosmetic, in no way affects the sound or its handling safety; but it's a crack, so needs mentioning.

Regarding the tubes set:
As with the tubes currently on the amps, these are all brand new. In total you get the following, as showcased in the relevant photo:
- 13 matched pairs (26 total) of Ei PL-519, for 6 changes + 2 spares.
- 02 matched pairs (04 total) of Sylvania PL-519, for 1 change.
- 13 unmatched Valvo PL-509, for 3 changes + 1 spare.
Allowing for a total of 10 full changes, plus your spares for that additional peace of mind. So an easy 50 years of tube supply, without counting the tubes already on the monoblocks, raising it to 55 years total.
Would lastly remind that 509/519s are no longer being made, anywhere.

Technically speaking, this unit performs in 100% the way the manufacturer intended it to. Am a qualified technician and i have (re)checked this, with the relevant technical equipment, prior to making this listing.
As such, refund requests purporting "malfunction", in actuality a smokescreen for a 'try and return' tactic, will not be grounds for a refund. You agree to this beforehand.
Refund requests amounting to 'opinion' or 'preference' from the buyer's side will be considered invalid, no matter how phrased. You agree to this beforehand.
