Description
The ICS mono blocks are built like the DUETTO stereo block but in two separate chassis. The power supply is thus doubled and increased to the quite extraordinary value of more than 2 kVA in continuous power to go up to more than 12 kW peak. Enough to guarantee the most perfect dynamics and reproduction of harmonics without any compression and this even at the highest output levels.
The polarization in class A can also be modified in order to transmit Music and Emotion perfectly. This configuration possibility offers the best noise rejection, the highest signal-to-noise ratio and the most favorable to the reproduction of the smallest ambient details. This sums up what we can do best and we are convinced that we are thus very close to perfection.
Features
Outstanding power supply, with 2 huge transformers of 980 VA each, completely stable even on low impedance loads (less than 0.2 ohm) to provide effortless dynamics.
No special cables or special settings required.
Particularly efficient technology adopted for the power supply to eliminate all electromagnetic radiation and completely suppress vibrations:
buried in a thick layer of quartz powder to counteract noise and vibrations
cast in resin and enclosed in a very expensive mu-metal enclosure
floating and suspended cabinet thanks to several silent blocks in sorbothane.
The internal wiring is made of ultra-pure Litz wire and can, as an option, be made of silver cable.
The important components are manually shielded by a grounded copper foil.
The high power reserve is made available very quickly by using a large number of low-capacitance capacitors, connected in parallel and positioned as close as possible to the active component they are powering
Printed circuit with tracks 4 times thicker than those of a standard card.
