Description
Discreet, neat, functional and efficient, the DAC212SE from Didit High-End will not make you forget your CD player, but it will enrich your music library.
Built in a solid aluminum chassis, subdivided into sections, to reduce vibrations and other unwanted magnetic effects, the DAC212SE can be configured in converter (DAC) or preamplifier mode, with balanced variable level output; the volume can be adjusted either in Single mode (same control for all inputs) or in Multi mode (differentiated control by inputs).
The printed circuit of the DAC212SE is locked between the two parts of the chassis which protects it from any oscillations; the lower part resting on sorbothane discs inserted in metal decoupling feet, adjusted to the resonance frequency of the box.
The display (LED matrix) allows navigation in the basic menu (source, volume, mute) and the configuration mode of the multiple settings available (via the remote control)
. The quality of the connections (XLR, RCA, USB) is indisputable, and offers five digital inputs (AES, Coax, Optical and USB). The DAC212SE is also Bluetooth apt-X compatible.
The DAC212SE allows you to enjoy all digital sources, as it supports the playback of high definition PCM files up to 24 bits at 384 kHz, as well as the majority of lossless audio formats. As well as the DSD64, 128, 256 and 512.
iOS (iPad and iPhone) and Android (all other tablets) applications provide playback management for files stored on a network hard drive, NAS and, most importantly, on network audio servers.
Like all Didit products, the DAC212SE can be updated to improve its performance.
