Description

Up for sale a well preserved pair of Auditorium 23 speaker cables (4.5m = 14.7ft) from the early production still without the Auditorium 23 branding on the shields that was added later. Despite their age, this cable still has that beautiful green vintage look, reflecting that they have actually been handcrafted here in Germany. Note that for these cables a combination of carefully selected copper conductors and proprietary dielectric materials was used, designed to minimize signal loss and phase distortion. Audiophiles continue to celebrate these cables (almost to cult status) for their natural sound, exceptional transparency, and their ability to complement high-efficiency and tube-driven audio systems.
Well, I have two pairs and I rarely use this longer pair, so it is now a good time to let it go for someone else to enjoy. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions.

'"Speaker cable by Auditorium 23 - A23 speaker cable does not come from industrial drums. It is composed of 2 differently structured conductors of differing profiles which are manually twisted, coated in a green or gray jacket and then terminated with beryllium-copper banana plugs. We prefer and appreciate these plugs, because of the minimum of material to filter the signal. The small diameter of these plugs does not allow solutions for bi-wiring, but it's possible to provide jumpers when desired.
Since the speaker cable is manufactured manually, individually desired lengths are possible.
A23 speaker cable is manufactured unchanged since the early 1990s and - according to the feedback of our clients - competes very well until this day."
