Description
The Reference 6 offers the highest performance ever available in a single-box preamplifier. The REF6 benefits from the advances of Audio Research's very top-of-the-range equipment.
Whatever the recording, the musicality is convincing and the tubes produce superb texture, particularly on vocals. The original tubes are supplied, as are NOS ECC88 Amperex tubes which have greatly improved reproduction. Note a small defect under one of the front handles.
