Sound - exceptional for the price and size (because of R2R DAC and Class A amp), I used it for a while as DAC in my home system, the next level was Chord TT2 with M-Scaler (three times more expensive)
The big benefit of Astell & Kern is not very “digital” sound, it’s very musical
It's perfect for (any) IEMs but drives full-size headphones without any issues (I used with Fostex TH900mk2 which are also for sale)
Another benefit is battery power so you don’t worry about quality of electricity (critical for DAC)
It comes with Tidal, but you can legally install Qobuz, Tidal (native), Apple Music, etc. and download library
It's even Roon ready!
