Description
I am selling this exceptional and very rare Player IV from ACCUSTIC ARTS. Purchased in January 2024, it is in mint condition. It is part of my private installation, but has been used very little due to lack of time. The PLAYER IV is a CD player and D/A converter of the highest level, and the successor to the famous PLAYER II - MK2, 22 kilos of concentrated technology and craftsmanship. Breathtaking performance. With its original box, manual, remote control and accessories in a wooden box with white gloves.

The PLAYER IV is an absolutely top-class CD player and D/A converter and the successor of the famous PLAYER II – MK2. For the CD module, the new CD Pro-8 as the replacement of the legendary Philips CDPro2 finds application.
The important features of the PLAYER IV include 4 digital inputs (XLR, coaxial, optical and USB) and the USB input works according to the latest asynchronous DSD256 technology.
The PLAYER IV is not only a top class CD TOP Loader, but also an externally usable D / A converter, which has both a coaxial and an asynchronous USB input for HD audio and DSD. Via these inputs, e.g. a laptop, MAC or PC, but also another digital source device.
The heart of the PLAYER IV is the new CD Pro-8 transport, which has been embedded in a massive, resonance-optimized ALU block. The excellent sounding D / A converter used in the PLAYER II works on the sophisticated 32/384 upsampling principle. For optimal connection, the PLAYER IV therefore has symmetrical outputs.
