User experience:
I used the Klimax Renew DSM for several years with great satisfaction – it represents a clear upgrade in every aspect compared to my previous Akurate DSM: richer detail, more coherent soundstage, and improved spatial precision.
The DSM extracts the audio signal from any HDMI source (set-top box, Blu-ray player, HTPC, etc.) and routes it directly to the power amplifier or speaker system. There’s no need for an AV receiver. Thanks to the high-quality built-in preamp, all you need is a power amp to complete your system.
